A small fix release. Everything in it is about Pulp reporting your computer’s memory honestly, and telling you the truth about what it is doing while you wait.
Fixed
- The “still working” notice quoted the wrong wait time. When a model went quiet, Pulp said it would give up after 90 seconds. It actually waits five minutes.
The message now says what Pulp really does, so a long answer no longer looks like a hung one.
- The memory indicator no longer calls a struggling computer healthy. A machine that had started swapping heavily could still be shown as having no memory
pressure at all — which hid the very thing that was making everything slow.
Improved
- Loading a model can no longer quietly push your machine into swapping. There is now a ceiling on how much memory loaded models may occupy in total, so
starting one more model cannot drive the computer into the state where everything crawls.

Updating: open Pulp and check for updates, or download a fresh copy from the usual link. Your chats and installed models are preserved across the update.
